WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO

ARIA  is a group of people who have one thing in common. An interest in amphibians reptiles or insects

 Our main aims are

1) To further the interests of the herpetile hobby in all respects and to assist members in developing their social and cultural interests

2) To educate the public and generate a more positive attitude towards Reptiles, Amphibians and insects.

3) to help conserve reptiles and amphibians in the wild

We produce a monthly newsletter for our members, who also benefit from presentations from guest speakers, field trips, social outings and other social events.

As a club we  are also keen to exhibit at shows and visit schools and other educational establishments. (Attending shows and talks is not a requirement of our membership but can be very enjoyable).

If you are interested in joining us please come along to one of our meetings. The venue, dates and times are listed on our meetings page.

You don't have to own reptiles, insects or amphibians to join ARIA just have an interest in these fascinating creatures.
