Our main aims are
1) To further the interests of the herpetile hobby in all respects and to assist members in developing their social and cultural interests.
2) To educate the public and generate a more positive attitude towards Reptiles, Amphibians and insects.
3) To promote responsible keeping of Reptiles , Amphibians & Insects.
4) To help conserve reptiles and amphibians in the wild.
We hold monthly social meetings often with presentations and talks from a range of guest speakers. These are open meetings and everyone is welcome. There may be a small chareg if we have a guest speaker. As a club we also give talks, exhibit at shows and visit schools and other educational establishments, see our shows and events page.
(Attending shows and talks is not a requirement of our membership but can be very enjoyable).
If you are interested in joining us please come along to one of our meetings. The venue, dates and times are listed on our meetings page.
You don't have to own reptiles, insects or amphibians to join ARIA just have an interest in these fascinating creatures.
